The Lighthouse

The waves were raging and the storm was setting in,
The sea seemed angry pulling me deep within.
The darkness was upon me nothing I could see
Hoping and praying and getting through the high sea.

I’m all-alone with no one in sight.
I cried out, "O, Lord, could this be my plight?"
Then the Lord replied, "do not be scared, I am your guide,"
Just look toward the light far and wide.

I am  your lighthouse shining day and night,
My light will always shine, like the sun so bright.
Weathering the storms and calming the sea,
My light so bright will set you free.
