Come Sit With Me


Come sit with me
before my time has passed;
We'll make those wonderful memories
that will forever last.

We'll talk about our days gone by
and all those yet to come,
I'll tell you of sweet stories,
When your life had first begun.

Don't wait too long
and look back with much regret;
My memory will slowly dim
and important things I know I will forget.

My memory is short
and my days are oh so long;
I listen and I wait
as I look for you to come.

Come sit with me
I know that you will find;
Great fun stories to tell your own,
Of a meaningful lasting kind.
