Friendship So True

 Thinking of you
Helps me think of the love we share
That only true friends can find with one another
Someone who will be there no matter the reason
Who will lend an ear
When we need to talk of our troubles
Who will not hold it against us when we speak our mind
Who will listen and try to talk us through it all
Even if it's just a phone call
Saying Hi, how are you
I have a problem and feeling blue
Friends like this we don't find every day
And I thank God above for sending you my way
Friends like this are a rare find
And, I want you to know
Though we may be close or miles apart
You are always in my heart and mind
Helping me to feel the closeness we share
Knowing for each other, we very much care
And, I want you to know
I will always be here for you
Whether near or far where ever you are
