Patriot's Day

Mark this day on your calendar,
  A date to remember.
It's burned in our hearts,
The Eleventh of September.

We'll give it a name,
  Call it 'Patriot's Day'.
And ask GOD to bless them,
  Each night when we pray.

These innocent people,
  Who meant no one harm.
Came from cities, and towns,
  And hamlets and farms.

Their horrible deaths,
  Must not be in vain.
We must show the world,
  That we feel their pain.

So, come 9/11;
  Let's all kneel and pray.
And honor these victims;
  It's a small price to pay.

Let's each give our thanks,
  In our own special way.
Let 'Ol' Glory' wave,
  On 'Patriot's Day'!
