Sometimes all I need is a friend
When my day has been long
and finally comes to an end
Sometimes I need that friendly smile
One across the many miles
My computer holds these many friends for me
Keeping me in touch
With friends that mean so much
When something happens during my day
Bringing me down in many ways
I think of the friends I have met
One just like you
That helps me get rid of the blues
Every now and then
It's nice to know
that when we find the time
I have a friend like you in my life
From the early morning sunrise
To that last star that arrives at night
I hold your friendship near and dear to my heart
Because I know if there is something I
need to talk about
You are there to hear me out
This friendship runs both ways that's true
