Some people live their whole lives through
Making wishes that never come true
Having dreams that do the same
Saving their hope for another day
When I met you, I already knew
My dreams and wishes were coming true
When we met and began talking
You lit up my life with smiles and laughter
Over a period of time, after chatting
together online
We agreed to meet in person
It was then I saw the beauty in your soul
Sharing our first hug and kiss
I knew right away, I wanted you to stay
So many nights, all alone I wished
Upon that falling star
Dreaming of someone to fill my heart
I would close my eyes tight
Cross my fingers every time
When all my hope had almost faded away
You popped into my life one sunny day
Throwing caution to the wind
Leaving the past behind
With words we started to rhyme
Love started to bloom
Right before our eyes
With love coming alive
We both felt it was right
