As we start a new year let us begin with a prayer
That the war will soon end and peace we can share
Spread love and happiness everywhere we go
The seeds of our harvest will surely show.
A year with our family and all our friends
Make it so special as it all begins
Know in our hearts that it is up to us
To quench the hate and the silly fuss.
A year of sunshine and rainbows above
Sharing all of Gods creatures and sowing our love
For the world will be a much better place
If we all work together and keep the same pace.
Give all our children the chance that we had
Keep a focus on good things never the bad
Keep faith in our homes and love in our heart
Be kind to each other as each new day may start.
Remember the less fortunate, give a helping hand
When they are ridiculed let us take a stand
One for all and all for one
Will make a happier world when said and done.
