Unique Friendship

I sit here and I meditate
About what I should say
I'm tired of the same old greeting
Have a happy day.

I need to think of something
Unusual and unique
Yet when we greet each other
Worries take a back seat.

Not too much to talk about
Not too much to do
Another day to celebrate
Our friendship tried and true.

So have a great day, enjoy yourself
I will keep you in my mind
Until we meet tomorrow
Same place and of course same time.
