Tomorrow

The quietness of the evening
Silence of the after glow
I wonder who is still awake
Something I'd like to know.

Sleep has evaded me
Thoughts run ramped in my head
Not a sound anywhere around me
Not one word has been said.

A silent night to reflect
On the beauty of the day
And if you could envision it
It would take your breath away.

The night has come and you must rest
Just close your eyes and see
Reflections of tomorrow
And please remember me.
