Time To Rest

The day is almost over
My thoughts return to you
I hope you had a pleasant day
Your night be pleasant too.

The beauty of this day has passed
Soon tomorrow will be here
And we can start all over
A new day will appear.

I simply have to tell you
Your friendship means so much
When the sun comes up tomorrow
I'll be sure to get in touch.

So rest tonight my special friend
And know I think of you
Until when tomorrow comes
