Timeless Friendship

I thought of you with love today
Yet that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday
And before that day too.

Bet you didn't ever think
A friend could care so much
Or think about you every day
Take time to keep in touch.

Friends to me are like precious gems
Valuable, priceless and rare
That's why I send this card to you
To let you know I care.

Yesterday has come and gone
And things will stay the same
Through the years we'll keep in touch
Our friendship will remain.

So think of me just now and then
And know I think of you
When you get the time drop me a line
