Thinking Of You

We meet many people
In the course of every day
We cannot always see their faces
Yet enjoy what they say.

Over time a friendship blooms
Like daffodils in spring
The joy meeting someone new
What a pleasure that it brings.

So often we don't take the time
To show kindness to one another
Or to express our thoughtfulness
As we should to each other.

And that is why I send this card
To you my friend today
To let you know I'm thinking of you
In a very special way.
