Sunshine

My friend reminds me of sunshine
So beautiful, happy and warm
I know my friend is close by me
Always there to help weather a storm.

I can't imagine being alone
Without my dearest friend
Please know how much I care for you
And so this message I send.

Each day you bring joy to my life
Thank you for being close by
When my life has its happy moments
Or sometimes when I need a good cry.

Thank you for your understanding
Our chats about so many things
But most of all I'd like to thank you
For the happiness your friendship brings.

So when my day is over
I ask God in Heaven above
To keep you in his precious care
And shroud you with his love.
