Summer time is here once more
The sun shines bright above
Birds are singing happily
It's a day of joy and love.

Winter storms are in the past
It's time to celebrate
Vacation time for everyone
Now hurry don't be late.

School is out and time for fun
For every girl and boy
Jump in the pool and play awhile
Lots of happiness and joy.

Mom's busy as a little bee
Making sandwiches in a pile
Enjoy the short time that we have
With love and a happy smile

Won't be long and it's over
Back to school and the snow
But summer will be remembered
Everywhere we go.
