Summer

Lazy days of summer
Is a special time for me
Just toasting in the sunshine
I'm as happy as can be.

Soft breeze blowing on my face
Flowers blooming in the sun
Birds flying and chirping their melody
As they have their summer fun.

God made possible all I see
His hand prints every where
He wasn't selfish when he mastered this
His creation for us to share.

I cannot think of a better way
To spend a day of rest
Enjoying the things around me
For that's what I do best.

And while enjoying my summer day
Thoughts of you come to my mind
I want you to know that I miss you
You're the best friend I could possibly find.
