Special Friend

Friends always there for each other
Because they understand
They always go out of their way
To give a helping hand.

They listen and they truly hear
Each word that you say
They even read between the lines
And help you in some way.

A friend can guide and inspire you
Fill your life with so much laughter
They know what you are searching for
Just know what you are after.

A true friend always seems to know
When feelings come from deep within
That what you really want and need
Is an honest to goodness friend.

That's when they're there to help you
Be thankful that they are
A precious friend so wonderful
