My Special Gift

You're the first thought of my morning
The last thought of my night
When things are topsy turvey
And when things go just right.

You're the fragrance of a flower
The song a blue bird sings
My treasure at the end of a rainbow
The beauty this day brings.

How do I deserve such luxury
Why has it been given to me
I'm just a simple mortal soul
As humble as I can be.

Family and friends mean so much to me
I try to show my love some way
