Magic Mirror

I look into the mirror
And what do I see
Someone so kind and beautiful
Just like I want to be.

I know I'm not very pretty
I don't think I'm always kind
But I see a face that I recognize
And I think it could be mine.

I think in time and with patience
With lots of work and love
The Lord will unfold his magic
From Heaven up above.

I've always wanted to be pretty
Inside my heart I mean
Be kind, gentle and loving
I don't have to go to extreme.

I'll work real hard, make lots of friends
Do unto other's as I would have them do unto me
That kind, sweet face in the mirror
Will be the face I'll want to see.
