Little Blessings

I've never asked for much in life
The little things meant a lot
The wealth I've acquired in my time
Is the good friends that I've got

Days may come and days may go
And I have learned one thing
Money doesn't buy happiness
Like the love of a good friend will bring.

You know life is a funny thing
You make of it what you will
If you are not selfish and hateful
Then you can write your own bill.

So please remember one thing
Your friendship means very much
I send this card to tell you that
And I'll always keep in touch.

I'm thankful to have you for my friend
I thank God above each day
