Life Is A Blessing


When my journey has ended for the day
And I sat in solitude and rest
My thoughts go back to my accomplishments
Things that I enjoyed the best.

So often I rush through the day
Wanting it over as fast as can be
I always take for granted
The beauty around me I see.

My peaceful little community
How beautiful my garden grows
Houses neat and tidy
Such peacefulness everyone knows.

The beauty of the mountains
Where the streams flow free and clear
Makes me aware of the blessings
Of the sights I can see and hear.

The smell of the morning Ocean
As the ships go sailing by
Couldn't ask for a nicer picture
No matter how hard I try.

The church bell rings Sunday morning
Beaconing us come one and all
The lesson of Jesus awaits us
That voice in our heart is his call.

Life is such a blessing
This message I had to share
With all my family and my friends
Because I truly care.
