Lady in white

Lady In White

A lady in white is so precious
A lover of mankind to behold
Her steps she treads so lightly
She rescued me from the cold.

She comes in the depth of darkness
Flowers with the light of each day
Her courage shines like a moonlit night
She radiates a golden ray.

Hold my hand dear lady
And wipe my weary tears
Just stay by my side and comfort me
Your nearness dissolves my fears.

I dedicate this to all nurses
Angels of mercy wait for their call
I pray that God holds them in His arms
Bless their courage one and all.
