When I woke up this morning
The sun was shining bright
The view I saw before my eyes
Was truly a magical sight.

I smiled at the beautiful day
Of pure and simple glory
And thanked God for the blessing
That makes up my life's story.

Then I thought of you my friend
And what you mean to me
All the memories that we share
That helps my heart to see.

Every day that I live
I know that this is true
I cherish every moment
The friendship I have with you.

Each moment I've been given
I'll love, appreciate and care
With you in my heart each day
Thank you friend for all we share.
