Want you to know that I'm alive
I haven't joined the dead
Still walking around in a fog
It must be in my head.

I stood at the top of my stairs
I stopped and looked around
Was I going up the steps
Or was I coming down?

The frig is another thing
When I take something out
Or am I putting the food away
My head is filled with doubt.

If you don't get mail from me
Just take a break and rest.
Cuz I don't know if I wrote or not
Don't want to be a pest.

Sometimes I stand before my bed
And look around in doubt
I don't know if I'm getting in
Or if I just got out.

Just went to my mail box
And boy my face is red
Forgot to mail your letter
But I opened it up instead.

Tomorrow will be better
I've said this before
Just another Senior Moment
Cuz I still can't find the door.
