He died for our sins that dark day
He never condemned us one time
For the suffering he bore as he died on the cross
Will forever be a suffering of mine.

He came back to see his disciples
He wanted to share where he lives
The love that he showed them that wonderful day
Is the love that today he still gives.

As we celebrated this Easter
Let us do it out of love
And remember our Lord and Savior
Who lives up in Heaven above.
