Happy Is The Day

My days are always busy
So many things to do
Yet no matter how rushed I am my friend
I always think of you.

Sometimes I forget to keep in touch
With our friend we hold so dear
My day is just never quite complete
If your words I don't see or hear.

I never take the time it seems
To stop and show I care
Even though you are so special
And your friendship is beyond compare.

So here I am today dear friend
