Gimme A Hug

I'm not too fond of mushy stuff
Yet my feelings are very strong
I need to let you know honey
That I've loved you so very long.

Did you know it?  I think you did
Yet words don't come natural for me
I try to show you in many ways
So that hopefully you will see.

I am not very outgoing
I'm sure not a clinging vine
But I don't mind letting the world know
That forever you are mine.

So if I don't hover and slop on you
Please know my love is true
And if you come over and give me a hug
I'll give you a smooch or two.
