Friendship In Bloom

Have you ever seen a rose bud
When the bloom is open wide
The dew drips from the petals
Lovely fragrance deep inside.

Have you ever seen a little bird
Tend its tiny nest
A tree that is in full bloom
When at its very best.

Friendship is a miracle
Just like the rose and nest
Or like the tree that's budding
A friend is the very best.

The beauty of a special friend
Is the rose that blooms so sweet
