Let's have a party
It's time to celebrate
Put it on your calendar
Don't forget the date.

It's a 4th of July party
With food and lots of fun
A lot of socializing
With children on the run.

Fireworks in the evening
With music loud and clear
What a wonderful celebration
So much happiness and cheer.

Let us not forget the meaning
As we celebrate this day
Those that fought to give us freedom
On this Independence Day.
