A cameo of hearts is a special gift
That brought us together and gave us a lift
Two people who met not long ago
Like a candle in darkness with a golden glow.

How does it happen I wonder in my head
When all of a sudden kind words are said
Do I deserve this treasure of a friend
Of course I do for it's a God given send.

Reach for the stars you may get the moon
If not out of doors, in the quiet of your room
The presence of friendship is in the air
A gift that is given for all to share.

A cameo of hearts there for all to see
And a special friendship for you and me
Know that I am near when you have a need
A friend kind and true waits for you indeed.
