Beautiful Friend

There is nothing I can fathom
More beautiful than a friend
Someone that is so precious
I always can depend.

There is nothing more beautiful
Than kind words and a loving heart
To pick me up when I am down
And give me a fresh new start.

Sometimes I feel so depressed
So lonely and so blue
And then I get an email
From my friend, and that is you.

I know then I have someone
Who really cares for me
Your words just fill my heart with joy
Though your face I cannot see.
