Another Senior Moment

It started just this morning
When I got out of my bed
I brushed my teeth and combed my hair
Sprayed deodorant in my head.

Fine way to start a morning
Hair stiff as it can be
Cleaned my glasses with pine sol
So now I cannot see.

Yep, I can tell how my day will go
Don't have to put it to the test
I tell you just a little bit
Then you can guess the rest.

I went to water the petunias
Filled up the water can
Forgot what I was going to do
And turned on the overhead fan.

I went to the frig to get some food
Forgot what I wanted to do
So I went outside to feed the birds
I forgot to do that too.

I tell you I'm getting awful
A tonic is just what I need
I'll call the doctor in a minute
After I sow these little seed.

Oh my gosh I can't believe it
I can't grow flowers with that stuff
It's the birds seed that I'm sowing
Getting outta here I've had a nuff.

Call the men in the white coats
I think I've lost it for sure
I'm going in the house and lock myself up
If I could only find the door.
