There are many things
With which I'm truly blessed
Life's been both blue and sunny
But meeting you the best.

Whenever there was trouble
Many friends may say
Ask me...I'll help you through it
And quickly turn away.

You never wait for me to ask
But seem to know my need
And come to my rescue
Sowing your friendship seed.

You dry my tears and make me smile
You lift me up each day
Give me the boost I really need
In a very special way.

There is nothing more to me
That I could ever do
To know a friend and be a friend
And love a friend like you.
