The turkey's in the oven
The whole house smells of spice
All the family coming
Which will be awfully nice.

A day of Thanksgiving
We celebrate each year
So wonderful to share this time
With those who are so dear.

Remember our soldiers far away
As we celebrate our love
Pray they'll be protected
By our Father up above.

May all the homeless and deprived
Be given help this day
Bless every one of us
On this Thanksgiving Day.
