Friendship Special and Real
We may not chat as often
As we'd like to
But when you see
A letter, joke or two
Someone is thinking of you
Keeping you in their
Thoughts and prayers
Hoping all your dreams
And wishes come true
Even though you are far away
Our friendship will always stay
We share so many tears and frowns
It's amazing
How we can stand our ground
Of all the friends I've met online
I can honestly say
You are one of a kind
And for that I am grateful
And want to say
Thank you for all the kindness
you bring my way
After working all day
I want to rush home
And sign online
Looking to see if I heard from you
And what you have to say
And if one of us has had
A bad day
Saying our Hi's and Hello's
We chat,
Bringing laughs and smiles
Washing the tears and frowns away
You have made a difference
In my life
Amazing how friendships
Can bring joy to our lives
I'm happy to know someone so true
Because when I talk to you
I don't feel so blue
It's great to have a friend like you
You're honest
And tell me the truth
You're never judgmental
Saying what you feel
And friends like you
