For My Grandson
Thank you Grandson,
For all the wonderful memories
You have given me
Watching you grow
From a tiny tot
To a full grown man
All the fun and games we had
I'll always remember
The times you lost and got mad
The times you won and,
Were happy and sad
Seeing your face light up
As I brought you a gift,
The day you got your first puppy
Watching you two run and play
And the joy it gave you and me
Was more than words can say
Now those years are past
And into a fine young man you've become
I'm proud of the way you went out
And faced the world
Now, as I sit here old and grey
Thinking back of the memories I have
They'll last forever and,
I want to say
I Love You, Grandson
Forever and a day
