Fall and Winter
Spring and Summer have passed with
Fall arriving at last
The cool air coming in, the beauty of the tree's
As they change colors is a sight to behold
The beauty of God's love for us to see as it unfolds
In the coming months, Old Man Winter
Will once again be upon us
As we build and stoke the fires to stay warm
Sipping coffee and hot chocolate
Of course, the kid's choice
We'll sit around the fire talking, laughing
Telling our stories of the days events
How I was sure the kids were bundled up tight
Before going outside and playing hard they went
And soon, will be bedtime as we tuck our loved ones in
And shutting off the light, hear them shout
Goodnight, I love you, let's do it tomorrow again
