A Friend Like You

A friend like you is treasured...
And very rarely found...
You're someone who was there for me...
When all the chips were down.

They say you'll never know in life...
Who'll be there for you...
And I guess I learned the hard way...
How much of that is true.

I'd like to say it in this poem...
In my very special way...
You'll be my forever friend...
Forever and a day
