Please write your love in the sands
Of the depths of my heart,
May it ever remain there safely
So that I may know truly
The sound joy of your love.
When days of feeling blue come
May I draw from your love
And feel its sunshine
Wrapping about me in tenderness.
May our hearts be clasped in love,
Our eyes to see the love of each,
To feel its ever flowing warmth
Knowing our love is written deeply
Within the sands of our hearts.
