Life's Treasured Friends

Life wouldn't be the same
If you were not here with me
To hold my hand always
Through the storms of life
When they become too overbearing,
And I need some assurance
That I possess the qualities within
To come through life's storms.
To smile at me when life's joys
Come my way in abundance,
To help me celebrate my achievements
That I strive to bring about.
Taking my hand in my journey
Knowing that were ever I travel
That you'll always be in my thoughts,
Knowing without your love
And the support you gave to me
That I couldn't have done the job
Of making this world a different place
Touching hearts near and far,
By my treasured friends.
