And it came to pass
To a world that was darkened,
An angel came bearing good news
Of a Christ child that was born.
Letting them know of the good news
That no longer need they live in fear;
For their bonds of captivity and fear
Would break asunder and be no more.
Love, Joy, and happiness would replace
All they had lost in a darkened world.
And once again Peace would reign
In the hearts of men everywhere,
And no more walk about in darkness
But that the Christ child gave them light
To see where they walked about.
For all these things and more
Was the Christ child born in a manger
To bring change to a darkened world.
Alleluiah! Alleluia!
