In Memory's Garden
In memory's garden fair
May I ever hold very fond thoughts
Of the life we shared.
May each teardrop that I shed
Stand for the love I have for you,
When we are apart from each other.
Allow me to clasp your hand
To walk through life together
Facing valleys, sorrows and joys.
May I ever touch you in so many ways
And hold your heart gently
As we face things together
On this road called life.
When it comes time to part
Through the vale of death
May I lift up my heart
And give you a final smile
Thanking you for many memories
We shared together
In the life of memory's garden.
