Autumn Dreams

I see the many colors of the leaves
Through the threading of the breeze
I watch as each little colored leaf
Floats through the air gently landing

Through the softness of the autumn's eve
If you listen you will hear
The beating of my heart
Longing to feel you near

Wanting to share with you, more than candle light
Loving you all through the night
As the darkness brings the brisk cool air
I will slip into the soft shadows of our fire

Escaping to a place I shall taste your sweet lips
Locked in your embrace and kiss your finger tips
Shadows dance upon the velvet wall
The flickering candle flame lights our passion's call

Let me hold you tight, where my warming love you will know
While the cold breezes outside blow
As the autumn nights turn to a misty dawn of gold
Let the day light stream in to awake you
In my warm embrace
While I watch you sleep, as the sun's rays
dance upon your face

For this dream isn't over until we have made it all come true
Sharing our days together beneath the sky of autumn's blue
When the stars come out to shine through
And we are together, me and you
That is when my autumn dreams will come true
